A. Lange & Söhne

The origins of the company go back to 1845, when the Lange company was established by Ferdinand Adolph Lange in the city of Glashütte, a place with a long history in the art of horology. The company's factory was destroyed in 1945 - its centennial year - and that was the end of Lange. In 1990, the great grandson of the founder resurrected the company as A. Lange & Söhne. Some of the most famous collections of the company are the 'Lange Zeitwerik Collection', 'Lange 1 Collection' and the 'Saxonia collection'. Today, the company is a member of the Richemont Group.
