Description

3200 GT was released for public in October 1998 at Mondial de l’Automobile Paris.

The Maserati was produced from 1998 to 2002. This model was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro, who is also responsible for the design of the Ghibli, Bora and Merak models. the 3200 GT was available with a 3.2L twin-turbo V8 engine, the block delivered 370 pk compared to, for example, 335 pk from the block of the Quattroporte IV.

Giorgetto Giugiaro was born on August 7, 1938 in Garessio (Italy). Giugiaro is one of the best-known and most important car designers. His designs were known for their sharp angles and clean lines. Giugiaro has worked on designs of many iconic cars such as DeLorean DMC-12, Bugatti EB 112, Ferrari 250 GT Bertone and many other designs.

Boomerang-shaped rear lights characterize the Maserati 3200 GT, it was the first car to be equipped with LED lighting as standard.

In 1999, the 3200 GT was introduced at Geneva Motor Show, a version equipped with an automatic gearbox.

Differences between the GT and GTA is top speed. 3200 GT delivers a top speed of 280 km/u in contrast, the 3200 GTA reaches a top speed of 270 km/u.

This V8 engine has an aluminum block, two overhead camshafts per bank with four valves per cylinder, and two turbos.
