An American dressed in an Italian suit, or an Italian with an American heart? The Pantera is a car of a bygone era, historically one of the first mass-produced mid-engined sports cars. The Pantera's iconic Ghia design, combined with its gloriously sounding Ford V8, means there is really no other car quite like it.

This particular Pantera's chassis number, THPNM05351, confirms that it is a Pantera L, 'L' for 'Lusso' or luxury in English: assembled in Modena, March 1973. It is believed to have been sold new in California and was, for 20 years, a part of the private collection owned by the proprietor of Mercedes San Diego before, in 2019, being imported to Sweden by one of the co-owners of MOTIKON, himself an owner of a well-curated car collection primarily composed of Italian cars.

It was during its time in America that the car was first restored and re-lacquered to its current colour scheme: a stunning silver adorned with black striping and delicate red lines. Simultaneously, the trunk was removed, and meticulous lacquering and polishing were applied to the engine bay, resulting in its current beautiful state.
